I was recently involved in a very cool project called the Tuesday Night Recording Club at Zippah Recording Studios. TNRC is an ongoing recording series with Producer Brian Charles & songwriter Aaron Perrino of The Sheila Divine. Each week, they assemble musicians from the Boston Music Scene to create a new song based on recording techniques of a seminal moment in music history. The night I was there we recreated an original song from one of my favorite bands, Smashing Pumpkins. I have long dreamed of playing in the Pumpkins since the first day I bought Gish on cassette. Doing this project was partly a dream come true.
