2012 was busy, inspiring, full of good times and great music. I can only hope 2013 will be even half as good and allow me to keep doing what I love and are passionate about.
Check out this fancy year in review timeline for Parlour Bells.
Some ideas so far…..
Coming off a breakout year and with the release of the new Parlour Bells EP “Thank God for the Night” off to a great start (including our release show being mentioned as one of 2012’s amazing shows and a couple tracks being part of a best of list), it looks like we have our work cut out for us in 2013.
Aside from a couple of shows scheduled for early this year, Old Jack will finally go into hibernation for some long overdue songwriting and pre-production for the next release.
2013 marks the 20 year anniversary of The Blizzard of 78/Delta Clutch. Even though we’ve been on hiatus I think we need to celebrate that accomplishment somehow…stay tuned!
Lastly, I plan on recording the follow up to my debut EP sometime in the late winter/early spring. The songs are ready to go and I just need to find the right place to capture something special.
